Discriminatory language?

Mother
Father
Husband
Wife
Marriage

These words are considered discriminatory in Scotland's health care services.

The International Year of the Family Theme Song - Verse 3-

Verse 3:
ALL OVER THE WORLD
WE ARE GLAD
TO BE SOMEBODY'S MOTHER
OR SOMEBODY'S DAD
AND WE GET A NEW CHANCE
TO LOOK AND TO SEE
HOW EVERYONE HERE
LEARNS TO LOVE AND TO FEAR,
IT STARTS IN THE FAMILY.

The verse will need to be changed to accommodate the sensitivities of Scotland's National Health Service. Perhaps the song could be amended as follows-

All over the Gaia
We liken ourselves to Maya
To be somebody's carer
Or perhaps even rarer
And we get into gear
To learn and revere
How everyone here
Learns our love and our fear
And never be called a queer.
